The Zestly content calendar
The content calendar gives you a visual overview of everything scheduled across all your social accounts. It's the central hub for managing your content pipeline.
Views
Switch between views using the buttons in the top right of the calendar:
- •Month view — see the full month at a glance. Ideal for checking gaps and density.
- •Week view — see 7 days with time slots, useful for day-to-day scheduling.
- •List view — a chronological list of all scheduled posts, great for bulk management.
Reading the calendar
Each post appears as a colour-coded card:
- •Green — scheduled and ready to publish
- •Yellow — pending approval (waiting on a client or teammate)
- •Grey — draft (not yet scheduled)
- •Red — failed to publish (click to see the error)
The small platform icons (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) on each card tell you where the post is going.
Creating a post from the calendar
Click any empty time slot in the week or month view to open the post composer pre-filled with that date and time.
Rescheduling by dragging
In week view, drag any post card to a different time slot to reschedule it. The change is saved automatically.
Filtering the calendar
Use the Filter button to show/hide posts by:
- •Social account
- •Platform
- •Status (scheduled, draft, failed, pending approval)
- •Team member
Bulk actions
In list view, tick the checkbox next to multiple posts to:
- •Bulk reschedule (shift all selected posts by X days)
- •Bulk delete
- •Bulk submit for approval
Colour-coding by account
Each social account has its own colour in the calendar. You can customise colours from Settings → Social Accounts to match client brand colours for easy visual identification.
