Connecting your social media accounts
Zestly supports Instagram, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn (profiles and company pages), X (Twitter), TikTok, Pinterest, and Google Business Profile.
Before you start
Make sure you are an admin on the accounts you want to connect. For Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts, you must be a Page admin ā not just an editor.
For Instagram, your account must be:
- ā¢An Instagram Business or Creator account (not personal)
- ā¢Linked to a Facebook Page
If your Instagram is still personal, go to Instagram Settings ā Account ā Switch to Professional Account before connecting.
How to connect an account
- ā¢From your Zestly dashboard, click Social Accounts in the left sidebar
- ā¢Click + Add Account
- ā¢Select the platform you want to connect
- ā¢You'll be redirected to that platform's login/authorisation screen
- ā¢Log in and click Authorise or Allow
- ā¢You'll be redirected back to Zestly with the account now listed
Connecting Instagram
Instagram connects via Facebook's API. When you click Connect Instagram:
- ā¢Log in to Facebook when prompted
- ā¢Select the Facebook Page linked to your Instagram account
- ā¢Grant all requested permissions ā Zestly needs these to post, read insights, and schedule first comments
- ā¢Select the Instagram account linked to that Page
*If you manage multiple Instagram accounts, repeat the process for each one.*
Connecting LinkedIn
You can connect both personal LinkedIn profiles and LinkedIn Company Pages.
- ā¢For personal profiles: authorise Zestly to post on your behalf
- ā¢For Company Pages: you must be a Super Admin of the page
Disconnected accounts
If a social account shows a red warning icon, the connection has expired or permissions were revoked. See How to reconnect a disconnected Instagram account in the Troubleshooting section.
Account limits by plan
- ā¢Starter ā up to 10 social accounts
- ā¢Pro ā up to 50 social accounts
- ā¢Enterprise ā unlimited
